Papakea Resort is truly the spirit of Old Hawaii. With 11 low-rise condo buildings scattered across 13 acres oceanfront acres, the Papakea Resort is one of the lowest density condominium resorts on the island.
Unlike many other Maui resorts, it is set well back from the street, but is still conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants. A convenience store, a full service grocery store, several coffee shops and a number of terrific casual restaurants are all within walking distance. The upscale shopping/restaurant venue of Whaler's Village is only a short 5 minute drive, with the charming village of Lahaina another 5-10 minutes further down the road.
Resort will collect a $17 per day Facilities Use Fee which will be payable to the front desk upon check-out. Facility Fee includes Usage of: Pools, Cabanas, Shuffle Board, Tennis Courts & Putting Greens Including Equipment Rental. 10 day/$170 maximum per calendar month.
Parking readily available behind the K building. Choose the stairs or the elevator to bring in your groceries and luggage. Special needs friendly property.

Staging area: Parking lot area by A building for the first half of the project and by L building for the second half of the project in an area approximately 10’x 30’ or smaller.
Noise: Mild to Moderate. Chipping of loose rocks. Equipment for concrete mixing.
Construction Barrier: Orange fencing in area of work.
Message from the HOA: the restoration work before the winter swells arrive is important because of the potential impacts to the wall from winter swell waves. We will provide updates when new information become available and throughout the project. The repair and restoration work is a part of the ongoing maintenance of the seawall. Over time, rocks become loose or fall off due to exposure to ocean conditions and natural deterioration.
